Kicking off the morning at Steam Whistle the organizers of CMWC all stood up in front of a small crowd of media to announce that the CMWC was ready to rock our world!

• Bike Films at Cine Cycle on Wednesday (don’t miss the pleasantly cheesy Kevin Bacon star in Quicksilver) starting at 8pm
• Janet Bike Girl presents Stencil Nation Friday at her Open Studio from 12-8pm
• Goldsprints Welcome BBQ on Friday from 2-8pm at 625 Richmond Street
• Pick up Bike Polo on Friday at 3pm, Scadding Court
  hockey arena
• Events on Toronto Island all day Saturday and Sunday!!!!
• Bike Union Social Ride on Sunday from 12-3pm – meet at Norway
  Park

I hear that some of the check points for this years races are going to be a little on the creative side.

Look out for the Jet Fuel Checkpoint...the word on the street is racers better know how to swim :)
