A Message from London & Thanks Alex!

Thanks to Alex MacKenzie creator of Vancouver's legendary (now defunct) Blinding Light Cinema for sending along a clever link from London.

You may want to skip the intro, but definitely do the test.

Alex also included this photo he took of a metal bike sculpture on a roof in Rotterdam.

It was my pleasure to work as a volunteer and a projectionist at the Blinding Light from 1998 - 2003. One of my favourite films watched there was the Subconscious Art of Graffiti Removal - by Matt McCormick.

I purchased the vidEo at the time (2001?) and watched it recently with some Portland friends. It had not lost its brilliance or charm. The film also features a voice-over by Miranda July and a lovely, flowing bike-riding sequence.

I'm happy to discover Matt McCormick's Rodeo Film Company website.

Thanks Alex, for lots of great things.
