I wanted to let Momentum know about an exciting new bike-art show at GO,RILLA! Gallery in Santa Ana, CA on Fri. Aug. 1st from 7-10PM.
Bike Curious? is a group art show that explores the many facets of bicycles and the curious cultures surrounding them.
The exhibit is sponsored by Fat Tire Beer and will feature new works by Paul Nagel, Chad Eaton, Leslie Caldera and many more.
Guests should remember to bring their bikes for free bike check-ups provided by Bicycle Tree and group ride to the Crosby, the OC’s innovative new restaurant/bar.

Weekly leisure ride each Saturday morning at 10. We'll average 15-20km per hour following bike routes around Vancouver, going to Iona Island or crossing to the North Shore.
Just Giver for Parkinson's is excited to launch the inaugural SuperCycle event to help kick off Just Giver for Parkinson's 2008. The SuperCycle is intended to help broaden both the exposure and fund raising level to help those living with Parkinson's Disease. The Just Giver team is inviting cyclists of all skill levels to join them on a 100km looped century ride. Former professional cyclists Alex Stieda and Axel Merckx will also be joining us on this day. A beautiful yet challenging 26km course that consists of 275m of climbing per lap has been chosen in the South Langley area. Hazelmere RV Park and Campground will be our event headquarters. This 26km course will allow those not able to do the entire century to complete 26km, 52km, 78km or the entire 104km ride.
When: August 3rd, 2008. Sign in starts at 8 AM, with the ride starting at 9 AM.
Where: Hazelmere RV Park & Campground, 18843 8th Ave, Surrey BC
Registration requires a minimum donation of $225 before June 1st, and a minimum donation of $250 after June 1st. Pledge sheets are available for fundraising.
