Ladies April Fixie Ride (with a few derailleurs)

The Vancouver Ladies Fixie ride began with beers, hugs and stretches in the gloaming at the Science World Gazebo, Vancouver's infamous meeting spot for bicyclists.

Racing through the downtown, delighting Friday night urbanites, we headed for the salty sea. Curving around the seawall witnessing a glorious descent of the flaming ball, we rested at Second Beach until darkness propelled us among the throngs of Denman Street for its beconing sushi and cupcakes (alas, too late for cupcakes, ladies erected an equally pleasing arrangement of bicycles with a cherry on top.)
