Momentum hosting Panel Discussion on City Bikes: The "New" Category at NAHBS!
The Momentum Crew is heading down to Portland for NAHBS! February 8-10, 2008
We are delighted to be hosting a panel discussion called City Bikes: The "New" Category
Sunday February 10th at 12:30pm
Room C 120
Featuring:
Mike Flanigan of Alternative Needs Transportation
Jay Townley of Gluskin/Towley
Jonathan Maus of bikeportland.org and
Natalie Ramsland of Sweetpea Bicycles.
Momentum Magazine is pleased to present a panel discussion on bikes built for utility.
Rather than focusing on the bikes alone, we will ask our panelists to focus on the people who ride.
During this session we will hear a lively dialogue about the customers for custom-built city bikes and their motivations and inspirations for using bikes for transportation.
What the North American city bike of 2033 will look like - and what percentage of trips in our cities will be taken by bicycle?
What obstacles will the new transportation rider may face - and what can we
do to help them overcome those obstacles?
We will allow time at the end of the session for questions from the audience.
Please also remember to visit us at booth# 427.
See you there!
