Thank You for Sharing, Sheldon Brown

Anyone who regularly uses the Internet and a bicycle has surely discovered Sheldon Brown. His online Bicycle Glossary has helped the Momentum editorial crew on many occasions to better understand the bikes we love.
Our condolences go out to the family and friends of Sheldon Brown, who passed away due to a heart attack on Sunday.
Sheldon Brown was an authority on bicycles – and a warm, patient and funny one. The one word that describes Sheldon Brown to me is 'sharing'. He generously shared of himself and his knowledge about bicycles and other subjects and the world is a better place because of it.
Please feel free to share your own thoughts in memory of Sheldon Brown.
Sheldon Brown
I am most sorry to hear of Sheldons passing his web pages were a God send to me. I used his pages so often that many of them I have stored for offline use.
As someone who uses a bike as his only transport I find that Sheldon Brown was a hero as far as learning how to work on my own bikes.
Though I never met him in person I will miss him for he was and through his web pages still is a great teacher for those of us who aren't the most mechanically inclined.
